One year old feeding should contain all important nutritive elements, such as proteins, carbohydrates, fibers, minerals, vitamins etc. Baby nutrition has following general moments:
If your baby is already 1 year old, you can replace breast milk or formula by whole milk. This should not be non-fat milk. Do not feed your baby with a cow’s milk until 1 year old because of p[possible allergic reactions.
At this age a baby should already receive fruits, vegetables, bread, porridges and dairy produce.
Feed your baby 4-5 times a day with small portions.
Keep open cans with baby food in fridge for no longer than 2 days.
Introduce a baby with new products separately and watch over possible allergic reaction.
Avoid following foods, as a baby can choke with them: nuts, popcorn, chips, corn, grapes, and raisins.
Do not give sweets and drinks that contain sugar to your baby, as this can cause caries.
Avoid aerated drinks, coffee, tea and chocolate.
Do not give any vitamin-mineral complexes to your baby without doctor’s recommendation.
Do not give a bottle with milk or juice to a baby, when he is lying in a bed, otherwise it will become his habit and you won’t be able to wean him from it for a long.
What to do if a baby eats badly?
Many young moms do not know how to determine whether their baby is hungry. Do not be afraid your baby is always hungry. Do not try feeding him every hour. Overeating will lead to no good. You should just establish an accurate schedule, feed him 4-5 times a day at a certain time, in certain intervals. It would be good if his feeding time could coincide with common rhythms of nutrition. If a baby sees a whole family having a meal at the table, it stimulates him slightly and helps concentrating on eating.
Do not try to force your baby eating with promises and threats.
Dangerous foods for a 1 year old baby

Preservatives and dyestuffs, and also products containing them are not acceptable for baby feeding.
