If someone wants to engage in weight loss, now - it’s quite time. I’m sure, many of us gained excess kilos during winter, and in fact there is only a month left before the season of open clothes, when you especially want to be slim. It’s time to start!
Perhaps, women will always want to lose weight. But between desire and its implementation, as you know, there is a long way, which, alas, not all manage to go. After all, you have to overcome so much, change, rethink. But believe me, you can start with small (the main thing - to start). For instance, I invented a law of 10 “No”, which helps keeping myself fit.
1. Say “No!” to all diets and starvation.
And not just because these methods are quite difficult. Diets and fasting make us very unhappy. Of course, we will lose any number of extra kilos, but with each loss our desire to fill what we had to refuse will rapidly grow.
Understand:
• You should not deny yourself all the products, and allow yourself everything, but in small portions.
• It is better not to deprive yourself of nutrients, but compose a properly balanced diet.
• You should not starve, but try to eat less. Just one spoon less. Stomach will get used to a new rule willy-nilly and start its own decline, thereby reducing appetite.
Live joyfully, not in a constant stress, and do not drive yourself into a state of stress.
2. Say “No!” to excessive appetite.
Gluttony is frightening. First, overeating destroys normal process of digestion. Secondly, over-stretched stomach requires more, it will need greater amount of food to satisfy feeling of hunger.
Get your body round!
• Increase number of vegetables and vegetable salads in your diet.
• Use separate meals. It will not allow you filling in stomach with bread and garnishes. Replace traditional dishes by meat with lettuce or porridge with lettuce. You will eat no more than 2 pieces of bread with starters.
• Develop a habit to get up from the table with a feeling of incomplete satiety. Say yourself: “This is normal, not all food is received by stomach yet.”
• Drink a glass of water 15 minutes before eating. This on the one hand will run gastro-intestinal system of an organism. On the other hand, it will add fullness to stomach before eating, and temper appetite.
3. Say “No!” to necessity to finish up the portion.
Well, it’s a very simple “No!”
• Use dessert plates for food. Amount of food on a plate will appear bigger. Greed of eyes is even more important than greed of stomach.
• And in general, do not put a big portion. You can always take more.
• Eat slowly and in small chunks. Stretch pleasure of eating so that a small amount of food would turn into a lengthy meal.
4. Say “No!” to your desire to eat after seven.
Every woman finds excuses for herself. Some say: “I have no time to eat during a day, I’m running the whole day, and in the evening I come home and eat. Other explains: “I cook in the evening. And, first I try food while cooking, and then I cannot resist delicious smells.” Others complain: “This is the only opportunity to eat with my family. How can I resist?”
For all these strong arguments I have only one argument: “It is such a simple rule - not to eat after seven, and it works so well, and its violation gives a huge weight gain, it’s just silly to violate it.” If you agree with this idea, all the rest will be a question of organization and some cunning tricks.
5. Say “No!” to a habit of chewing something.
I know how many people (especially office staff) like chewing something: cookies, nuts, candies. Note that these are high-calorie products. And their work is sitting. And, of course, it’s such a a pretty deal to chew something while watching TV.
To avoid this temptation, I personally remind myself: “Do not chew, you are not a cow!” But if no sound thought can help, take fruits. And always cut them into small pieces: apple, banana, orange - in pieces, divide tangerine into slices. And slowly eat vitamins, rather than calories.
6. Say “No!” to temptation to try all dishes at the banquet.
Holidays are a great temptation. Some try, preparing delicious meals for the festive table, but others try to taste all the dishes. But our soft spot during holidays severely prevents us from returning to a normal healthy diet.
• Choose 2-3 dishes you would like to try a lot.
• Refuse from remaining dishes through a banal thought: “I came here not to eat! I can afford all I want to eat any day! ”
• Redirect your attention from a festive table to emotional satisfaction.
7. Say “No!” to all harmful and even unwholesome food.
This is a paradox: food provoking weight gain in fact is not useful, and often harmful to the body. So the nature teaches us a correct approach to choosing products in such a simple way, as excess weight.
Remember that even during purchasing products. For weight gain starts at the time of purchase. If you have not something in the refrigerator, then you will not be able to eat it. And if you do not eat it, you will not have to lose it later.
8. Say “No!” to excessive physical activity.
Even most efficient complexes of exercises are originally doomed to failure, if their workload is such that after the first class your whole body aches. Perhaps, even if you lose weight quickly as a result of intensive training, you will also be broken. So, you will leave exercising and gain weight again.
• Do not exhaust yourself, but exercise regularly.
• Exercise slowly, but with pleasure, not disgust.
• Be prepared to wait for the result. It is worth it.
9. Say “No!” to anything that prevents regular sex.
If in the fight against excess weight you forget about sex, it will be the greatest folly you can make. After all, sex is both load, and burning calories and speeding up metabolism. I am not talking about pleasure of having sex - no matter whether you are slim of full. And then, you lose weight to excite!
10. Say “No!” to a misconception “I am fat - and this is my destiny.”
Despair, distrust and hurt - it is a sin. Both on church laws, and psychological. In addition, such misconceptions often hides laziness. Do not condone it! Take care of yourself, and you will become the way you like!
If you say yourself at least these 10 “No!” (and say quite categorically), you know you’re on the right path to weight loss. But do not relax! Guile of the way is that all these “No!” should be used constantly and adamantly. That’s when you can not just go on the road to weight loss, but really get amazing results.
