Ways to make your life easier to conceive.
1. Stop using contraceptives. This seems obvious, but some substances have a prolonged effect on organism. In case with pills, doctors recommend waiting for a month or longer after you stop taking them (consult with your gynaecologist).
2. Chronic diseases. High blood pressure, overweight, diabetes and many other factors (not to mention sexually transmitted diseases) affect your ability to conceive and give birth to a healthy baby. However, this does not mean you cannot conceive. You just should treat this question wisely and consult with your doctor.
3. Eutrophy. Balanced diet, consisting of protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grain foods, with minimum fats and sweets content is necessary not only during pregnancy, but also before conception.
4. Take folic acid. It prevents development of serious brain and nervous system defects in fetus that can be formed in embryo since first days, so it is important taking folic acid yet before conception.
5. Quit bad habits, as nicotine, alcohol and drugs lead to development of irreversible processes in fetus.
6. Determine your ovulation period. If your cycle is 28 days, then 14th day is the most favorable one for conception (count from the first day of last menstruation). If your cycle is 30 days – then 16th day is the best for you. If your cycle is 32 days – 18th day is for you.
7. Pay attention to your vaginal discharge. When you have ovulation, organism secretes thin slippery substance, promoting sperm penetration. If you watch yourself everyday, you will notice this vaginal discharge, resembling egg white, taking place in most favorable days for conception.
8. Men’s lingerie. When testicles are squeezed and overheated in speedos, quantity of sperm is significantly reduced. If you are going to conceive a baby, your man should avoid saunas, hot tubes, physical overloading, and also wear loose lingerie.
9. Sex positions, promoting conception. “Missionary”, “doggy-style”, “side-by-side” are the best. Avoid positions, when woman is on top, standing or bended.
