What will be a perfumery autumn 2008? Let’s turn our look to Paris, Milan, London, Hollywood – what do outstanding perfumery fashion houses and Olympus bright stars offer us?

Female aromas 2008

Concerning female aromas, the most appreciable releases are expected from Lancome - Magnifique aroma, and also from Gaultier - the company will present an aroma under a name Ma Dame. Perfume (in comparison with the previous releases) is calculated on younger target audience, therefore founders of a smell have departed from a traditional for a brand direction of East flower smells. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian formulated a fresh flower smell, using notes of a rose, grenadine, musk, cedar.

A limited collection of magic Nina aroma appears in a new magnificent image. A refined gold dress with a matte veil suit it very much. Its basic notes include lemon, lime, red apple, peony petals, lunar flower, praline on the basis of apple tree, white cedar and musk.

FEERIE from VAN CLEEF and ARPELS
Jeweller brand Van Cleef and Arpels issued a new perfume under a name of Feerie. A flower-wood aroma is constructed on notes of violet, black currant, Italian tangerine, Bulgarian rose, Egyptian jasmin, iris oil and vetiver. According to founders, Feerie should recreate magic and fairy tale atmosphere. Not only perfumery composition contributes to it, but even the design of a bottle specially created by designers of a jeweller brand: a tiny figure of a fairy is located on a silver cover of a bottle.

SENSUOUS from ESTEE LAUDER PARFUM
Estee Lauder gives to the world a new wooden-amber aroma identical to all from outside, but unique on every woman’s skin. Not casually four fine representatives of different age groups took part in smell presentation, a vice-president of the company noticed reasonably that Sensuous shows  “updating of an idea about womanly wood chords”. The harmonious aroma developed by perfumer Annie Buzantian, opens with a whiff of dense, sated sweet, exciting notes of lily, magnolia and jasmin petals. But through time the warmth of honey and mandarine pulp are revealed, decorated with a proof amber cloud. Such bewitching aroma will remain on your skin till the end of a day.

Man’s aromas 2008

Release of a man’s novelty from Guerlain under a name Guerlain Homme becomes one of the main perfumery events of autumn. It will represent something like a fragrant freshening cocktail on mohito basis.

Company Cartier will please perfumery gourmets with a novelty from a family of tall wine glass aromas this autumn, and Kenzo will try to win man’s hearts with flower notes. A new perfume from Kenzo received a name Kenzo Power. It is interesting that it will be difficult to isolate certain flower components in its structure. It is not “pink”, not “jasmine” aroma, and not a «freesia smell», which could dominate in a composition. It is a question about abstract flowers, not a smell of invented flower more likely.
