Consumption of 7 and more eggs a week can increase risk of premature death for middle aged men. Representatives of strong sex, suffering from diabetes, are in a special risk group.
Medical experts recently stated thish fact. During 20 years they had been researching 21 300 people. As a result, they managed to make following conclusions: daily consumption of chicken eggs by men increases risk of premature death on 23%. For those who suffer from diabates, any quantity of eggs increases risk of death caused by heart attack or blood-stroke twice, comparing to diabetics that do not eat this product.
The matter is eggs contain high cholesterol content, leading to formation of fat patches in blood vessels, what, in its turn, leads to cardio-vascular diseases, including heart attack.
Researchers note that consumption of 6 eggs a week bears no risk.
