Hair - a real storehouse of minerals: they contain zinc, magnesium, iron, silicon. So to make hair strong and healthy, our food should be rich in these elements. It is equally important to consume proteins of high biological quality, for example, eggs, milk and cheese.

So why do we care about our hair? Hair is the most important part of the body that affect our state of mind. You can wear the most fashionable clothing, most expensive jewelry, your skin can be flawless, but if something is wrong with hair, you feel discomfort.

You can say without exaggeration that the hair is a mirror of the soul. Nuns cut and cover head, thus hiding their sexuality, orthodox Jews and Muslims cover head in other people’s presence to show their modesty.

Long hair give more femininity, softness and sensuality. This symbolic role of hair makes women worrying for their condition.

Secretly, we love our hair. Hair can bring happiness or misfortune, raise spirits or lead to depression. We care about them more and more, spend more time on them and give them more attention, than any other part of our body. Our care of them knows no bounds. We love and caress them, hate and curse, but the joy, good looking and obedient hair bring you, give a psychological charge, like no other. We want them to be thick and beautiful, and we throw greedy views on other people’s hair. We use hair to attract attention, look attractive and tempting, proud and captivating.

Haircut can say a lot: protest against society, make a declaration of love (without words), show one’s indifference to others, or vice versa - chirk them. No, even most refined, haircut does not bring happiness to anyone, if hair are unwell. The reasons are numerous - from genetically inherited diseases and characteristics of the organism to seasonal changes in weather. Few think about connection between appearance of hair and health condition.

1. How to wash

Cleanliness is the basis of good care. And hair really care what you wash them with. Water should be soft, because in harsh water always contains salts that leave residue on hair. Water should be warm, not hot. Generally, water should be thawed, rainwater, boiled, without chlorine.

To mitigate water, add food soda (up to 5 liters of water - a tea spoon) in a bowl with water. By the way: running water is not good for hair, so try to use bowl. If you constantly wash hair with such water, that will lose fragility, irritation of scalp will dissapear.

After washing treat hair with some rinser, which removes a residue of detergent, while protecting them from environmental hazards.

2. How to dry

And yet, it is important to dry hair the right way. Hair dryer is great! Not for health of hair, but to save time. Do you always need it? It is better to wrap hair in a warmed towel.

And we should not forget that hair can be different.

Treatment of hair loss

Sometimes even healthy hair can fall. The reason for this is likely stress, lack of vitamins. This is a disturbing signal. The body needs support.

Essential oils are used against baldness and hair loss: grapefruit, cedar, ylang-ylang, sage, juniper, patchouli, rosemary, camomile.

Methods of use: scalp massage with diluted essential oils, addition of oils in masks and preparations for rinsing hair, based on other natural components.

As we already mentioned, the cause of hair loss is in disorder of metabolism and work of internal organs, especially intestines. Therefore, in this case they use anti-stress  aromatherapy improving work of bowel. Local methods also bring good effect.

Hair mask. Take an egg yolk, onion juice, tablespoon lemon juice, aloe leaf juice, tablespoon bur oil, 5 drops chamomile, 5 drops ylang-ylang. Mix all well, grind and rub into scalp before hair washing. Then do a head wrap with waxy paper and a warm towel for an hour. Wash hair with soft shampoo. Repeat once a week, 5-6 times.

To rinse hair, prepare an infusion of burdock root, hop cones, buckthorn leaves, grass turns, horsetail, sage and onion peel. If something is not at hand, never mind. Infusion should be very concentrated: 6 - 8 spoons per liter of water. For better effect, you can rinse hair every other day, massaging scalp.

To improve work of intestines and as antistress therapy, it is useful to drink tea of following herbs:
•   nettle - grass
•   peppermint - grass
•   immortelle - flowers
•   sea buckthorn - leaves and cake remaining after extraction of juice.

Corn silk. Brew 2 tablespoons in a glass of boiled water, leave for half an hour, filter. Drink half a cup before a meal 2-3 times a day.

It is good to add vitamins in your diet. Sea-buckthorn and cranberry juices - are what we need! They are rich in acid, which normalizes metabolism. Scab of hairy part of head also causes hair loss. This is an infectious disease caused by various types of fungi.

In this situation, for daily washing of head one should use a mixture of 200 ml of a basis for shampoo and 30 drops of tea tree oil. Before going to bed, rub a mixture of 50 ml alcohol, 10 drops rosemary, 10 drops lavender in scalp with light massaging movements. Often hair loss is related to seasonal change of weather, usually in autumn and spring. In winter, a fashion to go bareheaded brings harm to hair. That’s why you should take vitamin juices during change of seasons in advance. In autumn and winter make oily wrapping of head, without waiting for aggravation. In spring rub nettle juice into scalp.

Tips on «education» of healthy hair

• Do not forget major vegetable oils in dried fruits and olive oil, due to which hair does not become dry and brittle.

• Avoid tea and coffee! They have a strong effect on nervous, respiratory and cardiovascular systems and impede absorption of minerals necessary for hair.

• Drink mineral water, broths and fruit juices without sugar.

• Poor nutrition and sedentary lifestyle affect hair directly.

• Loss of color and gloss may be an indication of certain diseases.

• Numerous studies show that diets, poor in lipids, result in a loss of hair brilliance and vitality and increase the risk of scalp drying.

• If you noticed that skin becomes dry, increase consumption of basic oils, contained in vegetable oil, dried fruits, and lean fish.

• To make your hair healthy, eat eggs, dairy products, greens, carrot, as well as products that are rich in zinc, such as coarse-ground flour bread, seafood and red meat.

• Remember that irregular meals may have adverse consequences for health of your hair.

• Visit a hairdresser’s in the full moon. Hair you will grow beautiful with 80 percent probability. Moon is powerful: it rules the night with the height of heaven, manages movement of oceans and dictates the rhythm of floods and ebbs … And most importantly - it has a direct impact on people.
