Nevertheless, we continue to visit these shops. Moreover, some people adore them! What actually involves us in supermarkets and whether there is a basis to consider them as our devastators?

The seller wins for the several reasons at once:
- Having turned to be in the environment of beautiful packings, abundance of  illusion is created in a buyer, and he feels involved in it;

- Taking some goods in hands, the person would not like to leave them, as he already felt himself an instant the owner of this thing;

- Having arranged the most necessary goods in the different ends of a trading floor, the seller forces us to pass through all numbers of the goods and to find out that we need also this and that …;

- Pleasant music creates an impression of stagnation, you should not hasten anywhere;

- Having seen a difference between cheap and expensive, but very beautiful goods, the buyer suddenly understands: «I live only once, I can allow myself this thing!»;

- Waiting at cash desk, we see lots of small things, and here suddenly it appears that we need to put also this and that in our baskets and carts …

However, it would be strange if all of us would have appeared only victims of skilfully placed networks. Actually

The buyer also wins, because:

- You already should not visit several small shops, rather removed from each other;

- You should not communicate with the seller if you have no desire and if you have – please, the adviser is at your service;

- You can choose and read structure of products calmly;

- You can examine goods attentively;

-  Such shops often offer various actions and discounts;

- Buying products for the whole week, you save both time and money: look at the sum of the check and learn, how much money in a week you spend for food. You cannot do it while buying products in different shops, it is almost impossible: if you start collecting scrupulously all checks from all shops you visited during a week, it will already not assiduity, but paranoia.

It seems, not the artful supermarket is guilty in our unjustified and unreasoned expenditure, but ourselves … After all, a reasonable person can find an optimum variant of behaviour in each situation. For example,

- You should not visit such shop daily: you can buy fresh bread in that little shop on the ground floor of your house;

- You should compile a list of necessary products at home. Avoid any deviations: if the idea to buy something else comes to mind, note it and consider expediency of purchase at home;

- Buy compatible products: meat plus vegetables, etc. so that tomorrow you would not have to run to a shop again.

… Plus some female cunning:

- If you’ve got 100$ in a purse, you will never spend 150. You will not ask on credit from that nice stranger, won’t you?! Hence, there is no necessity to waltz whole salary with you: only the limit defined by you!;

- Never go to a supermarket after work. Firstly, you are hungry and this urges on. Secondly, crowd: it makes an impression that you can miss something, and when everyone snatches on something, you also take part in this unexpectedly. Purchase products during your day off, without hurrying up, after you had a good breakfast;

- Nobody forces you taking products from those shelves that are directly at level of your eyes. It is better to look round slowly: what is there, little lower or higher?

- Absence of the price list - is a favourite dodge of managers of trading floors. Ask the price from the adviser bravely!

- You already know the assortment of trifles located near cash desk by heart. Take for a rule: add nothing in a basket in this place;

- Take calculator with you. A cashier will not dare to shortchange the lady with such device.

So, now you are aware of all shifts of the selling party. Behave easy and confidently – the buyer is always right! Here you are a welcomed guest, and sellers battle for your attention and your money.
